Tibet: roof of the world

Although some parts of Tibet are crowded with Western and (mostly) Chinese tourism, there are still a few authentic places to find if you look well. It's not made easy, but especially in politically (relatively) quiet times one can found ways to get around the difficulties designed by the Chinese government to go your own way in this mystical country.

Traveling through the area for over 2 weeks, I found such amazing people with faces to never forget. Here's a selection of the people and landscapes I have encountered during my travels.
